“I’m here to help you get the care you need.”
Joy
NPS Advantage Care Coordinator

“I believe it’s important to provide you with an immediate response to your concerns and follow through on the commitments I make to you. My job is to be an advocate for you and help you coordinate your care.

Because I’ve worked in both clinical settings and medical insurance administration, I have a wide range of experience that I can draw on. And if I don’t have the answer, I have all of these other resources I can connect to.

When I’m not at work, I’m riding my horse, Harry, a German Oldenburg. I didn’t get into riding until I was an adult, but now I ride six days a week and compete my horse as a hunter.”

“It’s about helping you.”
Karen
NPS Advantage Care Coordinator

“NPS Advantage means you have someone you can call—someone who will listen and point you in the right direction. I’m like a train conductor. Come on my train and I will help you get to where you need to go.

What I find rewarding about my job is that I’m building relationships with people I truly care about. I’ve worked for a medical library, a home infusion company, a physician’s office, and I’ve run my own business. But as a Care Coordinator, I can work one-on-one with you and your physician and achieve a positive end result.

When I want to relax, I pick up a book. I’m an avid reader and belong to several book groups. I’m also involved in women’s empowerment and started a support group. That’s how my work and my life come together.”

“You can count on me.”
Cassaundra
NPS Advantage Care Coordinator

“I’m the type of person that will go the extra mile to make sure that all of your needs are met. I want you to know that you can always count on me to lead and guide you in the right direction. That’s important to me.

I know how hard it is when you have to deal with things and no one else understands, because I’ve had those situations in my own family. I’ve worked in patient support for 10 years, and I take pride in learning what you need to know from A to Z.

The thing I enjoy most in my free time is planning my family reunion in the little town where my grandfather grew up. He came from a large family and all his kids had lots of kids. There are about 150 of us that show up every other year around the 4th of July. We make quite a parade!”
